Memory Loss May Not Necessarily Be Due To Old Age

Memory loss may be short term or long term. Memory lapses are a normal part of ageing for most people and are not necessarily an ominous sign of mental deterioration.
There are three stages in the memory process:
* Input - new data enters your brain via neuronal pathways * Storage - the data or information is stored in the brain * Recall - information is retrieve from your brain when required.
