Different Kinds of Stress

The two types of stress are acute stress and chronic stress. Acute stress is the kind that when your body senses its in danger it makes the chemical changes that make you get out of harms way. When this happens your body releases the stress hormones like cortisol and adrenaline which create the fight or flight response in your body.
